ok idk if you guys have read anything James4.0litre has been saying on the civic side of this whole forum but hes a douche bag..and for the older s2k's w/the 2.0l was just wondering if you've beat or even raced the new whopping v6 mustangs 5spds. or even v8's at that. and if you did how'd it end ?

 

thanks dude i appreciate it, um naw man they can take a stock stang but there are NA v6ers running 14.0 flat and turboed v6ers running low 12s, but its cool buddy can a s2000 touch a GT? it has the weight advantage definetly but it is kinda low on power and very low on torque, mines got 250ish but its lacking in the hp catergory at only around 225 crank or 200ish at the wheels

 

it would take some work and driving skill for an s2000 to keep up with a new GT. even a very well driven, very lightly modded new V6 will put down numbers good enough to keep close with the S2000s....

This tells me the mustang got the s-2000 off the line due to larger torque, but not long after, the s-2000 will go flying by the mustang by hp and being lighter is this wrong??

 

Please keep in mind guys... the S2000 is not designed as a drag racer.

 

i got a 94 civic ex with the 1.6 vtec and its a 5 speed and all i have done is headers, high flow cat, cat back exhaust, and a cold air intake, and i beat an 02 mustang V6 with a 5 speed and it had a cat back exhaust and an intake 3 tmes in a row before he gave up...
