Stereo issue
Hi. This is my first time ever being on a forum so forgive me if I'm doing this wrong. Anyways, I installed an amp and subwoofer in my wife's 2016 Honda Accord sport. And for some reason, when the car is moving the sub is constantly producing bass. It stops when the car stops. Doesn't matter if the factory stereo is on or not or whether music is playing or not. The only way to make it stop is to stop the car or turn the bass **** all the way down. And this isn't the whine of the alternator coming thru this is full bass. Sitting still everything works perfectly and sounds really good up until the car hits 5mph.
because I know I'll be asked I used a0ga amp kit by stinger, kicker comp R 12, kicker cx400 mono amp, with matching kicker bass **** with a generic add-a-amp harness to the factory stereo. I have been thru it several times. The RCA's are on the opposite side of the power cable and I've grounded the factory head unit. If anyone has any ideas, I will be very appreciative. This is my wife's Christmas gift. And k would really like to get this straightened out. Thanks
