Default 09 crv with very bad mileage

I have 09 CR-V AWD with 19L/100KM. It doesn’t make sense to me plus it is Honda so no way milleage could be so bad.

I drive around 10km per day only in city.

I also have put high octane from shell but still no difference at all. Any guess ??

Idle at normal 650rpm,

No engine light, run fine, tires properly inflated. Only problem is driver side ball joint some little little noise while on street bumper but nothing serious. Thanks

That is terrible (12.4 mpg for US).
The fuel has to be going somewhere so;
Is it coming out the exhaust?
Is it leaking on the ground?
(check for stains from the tank to the fuel rail)
Do you have a midnight siphon buddy?
Are the brakes partially engaged?
Is it in the crankcase?
Have you manually checked by odometer reading? (not using the indicator display)

YMMV

Not leaking at all or smelly.
brakes are fine and accelerate well also,
wht is midnight siphon buddy? Never heard about that before. What it does in vehicle by the way?

i have the scanner and it show the same rpm as the display.
the problem is strange for me.
