2000 CRV window problem
I have a friend who has a 2000 CRV. When she lowers the driver's window and then raises it back up the window doesn't seal in the upper left corner. You can grab the window with a palm on each side and lift it into proper position. Additionally, the past couple of days there is a snapping sound when engaging the window motor.
How hard is it to remove the door panel and take a look at what's happening? It appears the panel is in two parts, an upper panel which accommodates the door lock and window control and a lower panel which appears to simply act as a covering (no controls).
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks.

get a picture from hondaautomotiveparts.com ( majestic Honda ) and it will show you the breakdown of the door. If you plan to do more work on the crv, try to purchase a helms service manual for the car. The door panel is not hard to take apart, just need to find all the hidden screws to release. then the door panel anchors. Also San Leandro Honda has a parts site on line ( slhondaparts.com ) with a better diagram not hard to work
