2001 CRV - P0130 code, upper O2 Sensor Replaced, Still throwing code
CRV was idling bad and throwing the P0130 code so upper 02 sensor was changed and after issues continued we cleaned out the throttle bottle and replaced the idle air control valve which seemed to improve the idle but after resetting the CEL the code returned. This is my son's car and the O2 sensor was changed by his girlfriend's father. Can someone give me the definitive location of the bank 1, oxygen sensor 1? I have attempted to research it online but couldn't find anything definitive and I'm wondering if the wrong senor was replaced?

Bank 1 usually means the first bank. Since it is only 4 cylinders, only one bank.
Oxygen sensor 1 means it is the up stream sensor. Or the first O2 sensor right after the exhaust manifold.
When getting P0130, first thing to do is to check wiring and connectors.
The ECU is not getting the signal it is expecting.
Then check heater circuit of O2 sensor. If necessary replace with OEM or Honda part.
Honda vehicles are sensitive to after market parts. Don't know if this is your case.
If it was easy to replace the O2 sensor then probably the right sensor was changed.
As the O2 sensor down stream is very difficult if not impossible to get out.
