2003 Honda CR-V blowing White Smoke
Great Forum, I own a Honda CR-V 2003, high Mileage, starts, runs, but is Blowing a Lot of White Smoke (Doesn't smell like "Anti-freeze), (Oil is not 'milky), is something clogged? What are the possible causes? Thanks
Hi there,
White “smoke” can be caused by a number of things.
Is your coolant reservoir full? First sign of a head gasket issue would show up there.
Is it smoke or fog? When you compress air you get water. That gets heated during combustion and you get fog until the exhaust system heats fully unless its real cold outside in which case it will persist.
Are you burning good quality gas? Bad gas can cause that too. Especially if you have water in your tank.
