Default 2004 Honda CRV-110,000 miles

Hello forum,

I just recently purchased a 2004 CRV 4WD , 4AT K24A1 w/110,000. I have a 2007 Accord with 184,000 miles and it drives great so I decided to get this used CRV for my daughter.

Drives great engine wise, I'm going to refresh the the suspension. No check engine lights, passes smog.

I did the spark plugs, trans oil, differential oil. Cleaned the throttle body (removed it completely). Waiting on the VVT and Vtec solenoid since it looks like it may have a bad gasket. Non-active leaks though. I will have my local mechanic check the valve clearances as I hate doing that kind of stuff. Maybe I'll watch a YouTube first.

I do have a weird thing going on with the RPM bouncing though. When I release the gas it will blunt from 1000-1500 or so. No surges, no jerks, no hesitation. Transmission shifts smooth as far as I can tell.

What would cause this maybe the VVT ? MAF or MAP ?
I've attached an mpeg of what I mean

Default Revolutions

I cannot open the attachment however there are lots of possibilities.

Have you scanned for DTC’s?
Check for vacuum leaks and the PCV valve.
Fuel Filter.

That is all that comes up in the old noggin right now.
