2005 CRV Dim Passenger Headlight after replacement
Hi,
I recently noticed one of my passenger headlight was out. I replaced the bulb and it still did not come on. Next, I checked the fuse box to see if any were blown. None appeared to be blown. However, when I removed the fuse for the driver side headlight, the passenger and driver side headlights came on as VERY dim. When I put the fuse back in the driver side, the driver side headlight becomes bright again and the passenger headlight goes completely out.
I then used a voltage meter to check the wiring to the headlights. When all fuses were in, the passenger showed 0 and the driver side showed 12V. When the driver side fuse was removed, the passenger and driver side wiring each showed ~.030 volts.
I'm not sure what steps to take next. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
tom
