i am looking for the GPS update for my 2012 cr-v, the one originally installed is ****, LOTS of missing routes and places,

If you could pin point me to a free one that would be great, or some low price one

welcome to the forum. you might want to purchase an up dated usb flash drive and install it. the port to install is above your glove box after to drop it open.

only one I can find is gpsbites.com it is 149.00 plus 3.95 shipping. you might want to call a Honda dealership and ask the service dept if they might have an update and what it would cost. also if you have a friendly Honda repair shop not tied to Honda dealership to see if they might have one in stock. I did not look to see if garmin might have one for your cr-v.
