Hey guys

hard one to explain. When driving I’m hearing an odd noise from engine compartment. Upon acceleration I hear kinda like a whirring sound and when idling and slowing to turn. It goes away. And when I start and pop hood to listen the only place I could pin point was back of engine compartment. Not a metal vibration sound but lower tone. Looking for input on where to start looking first as noise is so intermittent when car is in park. Happens most when moving and I don’t have a lift to put car in drive. Frustrating.
