Just bought a 2016 CRV and looking to buy a bike rack. I've used Thule in the past but today there's more options which make the choices better but you need more research now.

Get a hitch bike rack instead of a trunk bike rack system for a more stable setup.

 

While this may be a bit late....I have always been a fan of Thule. Now given that I have always preferred hitch type racks. Hatch types I think put too much stress on the hinges of the hatch. I did find and purchased a YAKAMA 2 place hitch. 11 lbs they say. Luv it ! Just my 2 cents.
