I have a 2023 Honda CR-V EXL with 2000 miles on it that seems to have a fuel range issue. We completed a 100% highway trip averaging approximately 27mpg. Our fuel range was down to 20 miles and we had 1 "bar" of fuel capacity remaining according to the digital fuel gauge. With everything pointing towards the tank being nearly empty, I expected to put close to 14 gallons of fuel in, but the tank was full after adding only 11.2 gallons. Let's assume the tank was filled full...that would mean we had 2.8 gallons remaining, which equates to approximately 75 miles remaining at 27mpg.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

welcome to the forum. Honda has a reserve fuel. I believe it is written in the owners manual. When you purchased your vehicle, the dealership supposed to tell you all the features the vehicle has. Per the CR-V forum there is a 2.0 to 2.6 gal reserve fuel.
