Default 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport L

I purchased my 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport L last October! So far - love it! We are planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park from Oklahoma this summer. Very curious how the hybrid will do in the mountains!

Default Ups n downs

Mine did just fine in the Smokey Mtns but its a ‘22. Yours should do better with the new gearing.
As for Yellowstone, if you have AWD and really want scenic, I suggest you take the Woodrock Rd not so shortcut from Sheridan WY to US14 and come in from the East side. Don’t try this until July as the West Side of the mountain is slow to melt. There is a campground and outhouse at the top in Dead Swede.

Happy Trails

Thank you for the information! We have NO mountains in Oklahoma so I wasn't sure how it would do. I do have AWD but we will be going in June so I better not try your suggested route!

over 550,000, 2023 & 2024s have been sold. 1/2 of 1% have had issues. I gambled and love mine.

Congratulations on your new car. I got my EX-L just last Tuesday. I seriously considered the hybrid but only drive 4k miles a year or a bit less and decided I'd never use up the $2k savings buying extra gasoline. I'm curious to hear your thoughts after your trip. I've read the hybrid doesn't like mountains quite as well as the non-hybrid but don't know of course. We have even fewer mountains around Houston than you have in OK. What colors did you get? Mine is white/gray. Safe travels.
