Default Hybrid

Hi,

Does anyone know how long the battery life lasts in a Hybrid and what the cost would be to replace it or repair it? I am considering buying one and usually keep my automobiles for a long time. I am not sure what to expect with a Hybrid.

Thanks, why the variation in price? So would it be unusal to replace an entire battery at 80K for 8K? How do you care for the battery to get the most out of it?

Also, are these batteries Lithium?

Replacing the battery for an electric vehicle would depend upon the manufacturers.
Each manufacturer have their own prices for different size batteries.
Those batteries can last a very long time if taken care of.
Meaning is to do slow charging versus very rapid charging
And to never go below 20% charge or above 80% charge.
Also, to live in a climate zone that does not have summer or winter seasons.
Of course, not always possible to stay in those limits.
A lot of research is still being done on battery life.
Hopefully something will come that will help car owners.

Thanks. Maybe I should wait for the Hydrogen option that Tesla is putting out. I live in a crazy climate and I was planning to not have to charge it for weeks at a time. I assume you are referring to the plug-in hybrid and not the regular crv hybrid.
