Default Beware of 2012 mpg for awd

I bought a 2012 CRV ex-awd and city/hwy combined mpg has not been better than 19mpg. When i'm driving on the freeway it shows you the calculated mpg at around 20-21, then on the streets it goes down to about 16-19mpg. So far I gassed up 4 times and the same outcome. 18-19mpg.... Horrible. I wonder if I too can win in Small Claims like the woman with the Hybrid????

I think all those #'s are ball park #'s. Their #'s are perfect conditions flat road course egg under foot drivin. I've got under 1000 miles on it so far I get about 20-mpg just guessing around town with little highway miles. It should get better as it goes I think. Taking a road trip soon so we'll see what happens. Pretty happy with vehicle so far.

I took this car up to the snow over the weekend and I averaged 30mpg on the hwy. I just think that the city driving mpg on the sticker is too conservative. Other than that, I am very happy with the car. I went off roading in the snow and wanted to see if I would get stuck and the awd kicked in and was pretty impressed. No snow tires too btw!

Recently took a road trip to Myrtle Beach, SC.. Got the best mileage of 30.2 per gallon going average 75-80 MPH. A lot of flat land south of New York. I'm pleased with the SUV!!!!

Still getting 15-17mpg in the city after changing my first oil. I didn't think it was going to get better after breaking the car in. I guess the mpg on the freeway makes up for it but I mainly do a lot of city driving. Dealer could not find anything wrong with the engine so there's nothing I can do.
