Default CR-V Diesel 2006 - Problem With Alarm & Key

I've got a problem with the key to my 2006 CR-V Diesel. The remote battery has leaked and now the remote doesn't work. I can still open the car and start it, but the alarm and hazard lights go off.
Is there any way to disable the alarm completely? Could I get another blank key and transfer the immobiliser chip over, and get the remote working again?
Anyone have any ideas on how to disable the hazard warning lights and how to remove the alarm horn?
Thanks,
Kev

Do you not have a 2nd key? Many locksmiths can not fix your problem.

Unfortunately I don't have a second key, although this morning I got the alarm to stop going off, don't ask me how, although I've still got a red light flashing on the dashboard. The key fob is still dead. I'm going to Malvern tomorrow, which is a 170 mile roundtrip, so I will see how the car goes.
