So I paid monthly to park in a parking lot. My car has been poop on 3 times in the past week or so. So I have to take it to a car wash and clean it, which made me thinking maybe I should pay monthly for unlimited wash if this keeps happening.

Now my question is, is it ok to wash my car often? Or will it ruin the car paint? What is the ideal amount of wash is ok? If I were to pay for a monthly pass, I am thinking of washing my car at least once a week. But if birds keep pooping on my car, I might have to go more than once a week.

I am worried washing too much is not good either, any knowledgeable person can give me some advice? Thank you so much for your help

 

Hardly a dilemma or anything to worry about.

Birds are going to bombard your shiny because that is what they do. The severity is based on the species and their specific diet.

Your jalopy is going on 6 years old so we are talking about new to you and not a creampuff. Why can’t you simply flush the poop off when you get home?

There are a few companies that make wet wipes to combat the droppings as well. Find them on Amazon.

They also make car covers however, it is likely that covers may cause spider webbing/scratches in the clear coat just like a carwash.

Other alternatives are garage parking, public transportation or a good shotgun.
