My Oct 2019, CRV EX-L 13,300miles, shows an error of Emission System Problem. I drop it in a Honda Dealer. They told me water in the evaporator system, need to replace Canister and filter, without warranty. They charge me $740 for parts and labour. I need the car at the earliest, so I paid that amount to get the car back.

Have any chance to get the money back by warranty?
Is this is not a warranty issue for an under-warranty vehicle?

 

welcome to the forum. check your warranty paperwork if you have them when you purchased your cr-v to view what is covered, also on the official Honda Site, under federal and California's emissions warranty, California covers the evap cannister( not the filter). also there are a few more states listed under the list of 3/36 and 3/50.
