Default fans or relays?

Hi I have another question. My crv radiator and ac fans do not work never have. The other day the radiator died on me so I replaced it. Then I wondered why my fans come on? I started the car and let it idle for about 15 and no fans started. I turned on the ac and both fans didnt come on. I checked the fuses and they where fine. I have read that the fans should come on when you turn on the ac. How would you all figure this out. This is a 2004 crv anything can go wrong. I think changing the relays and then the fans. What do you all think?

Thanks

Jerryt

Check all connections to see if they are tight, replace the fuses anyway, sometimes they look good but are not. Good luck and let us know if it helps.

Does the A/C cool?

If the fans NEVER work then the car would be chronically overheating... Is it full of antifreeze coolant? If there is an air pocket in the cooling system it could cause the thermovalve for the fan to not engage...

Lots of questions.. sorry not much of an answer

I will replace fuses. Good low cost try. Also I thought some cars you would have fans kick on. I let car idle for 15 minutes and fans never came on. Also when I turned on ac neither fan kicked on. Radiator is full and no air pocket. Should I run direct hot and ground to fan to see if they spin.?

Thanks
Jerry

put pwr to the motor with a ground and see if the motor turns. I had my rad fan motor go out, and the temp at idle would go up quick.

ok I will test and test. Fuses first. Power to fan next. Hopefully I can isolate problem. The only time car starts to get warm is in bumper to bumper traffic. Temperature goes to halfway on gauge. I checked radiator level and its full. Test test test. Just dont throw parts at the car.
