Default I really screwed up my Nav unit

I have a 2011 Crv. My NAV unit was no longer working so I wanted to replace it with an aftermarket unit. I stupidly cut the 24 pin adapter out thinking that I was going to have to wire it together. I ordered my aftermarket unit from crutchfield and it essentially came plug and play but the damage was already done. I spliced the adapter back together with butt connectors and now nothing works. I got 12 volts at the accessory but cannot find a constantly hot wire. So, I connected the constantly hot wire straight to the battery and the unit turned on. However, no sound came out. I have no problem running a wire from my battery to power the unit but I cannot, for the life of me figure out how to get sound out of the speakers. Any ideas? Or does anyone know where I can find a new wiring harness for the NAV unit?

Butt connectors stink like real butts.
