I have a Ford Escape and a feature I like is sthat I can leave the key inside the cr and lock it with a code on a panel outside the door. WHen I come back to the car I can punch in another code to unlock it. Are there models of the crv hybrid that have this feature.

No. Smart Entry is a no brainer. Honda products are well engineered/thought out.
Leave the fob in the vehicle only when in for service; the fob battery is working and anyone could drive off with the car.
