Default Replace Driver's Side rear seatbelt....help!

Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2014 Honda CRV LX w/ 15K from an Estate Sale. I just noticed the Driver's Side rear seatbelt is damaged. It apparently was cut or broke and retracted into the side pillar. I read somewhere that the seatbelts are under warranty but not knowing how the damage happened to the belt leads me to believe it would not be covered.

Any ideas on how to tackle this issue? I could try to get one from a junk yard but would appreciate it if anyone had illustrations or a video on the repair.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Bob K

I would have the dealer do it. The belts are in sync with air bag system and will need set after installation.

I agree ,let the dealer do it,I don't think the reason maters why it needs replacing its covered by law.

I thought ...
The seat belt pretension was mechanical
And didn't need anything special.
Learn something new ... seat belts are hooked up to the airbag system
