Very angry with Honda America regarding warranty
my 2016 civic blows warm air a month ago. my dealer wants to replace high pressure line, I filed goodwill warranty case to honda america since I am just out of warranty for two months and very low milege 20k.
It seemed promising to get my warranty approved, then, my dealer called me he got the part he ordered, it is so hot in Texas, I thought to fix it first, then wait to get whatever reimbursement they approve.
The dealer did fix the AC, and I paid $600 out of pocket to the dealer, but now Honda america saying they can't continue my case but I had the repair done.
What !! how does the repair get to do with anything with their approval process? can't they just reimburse me with whatever amount they approve finally?

welcome to the forum. I believe Honda America just stuck to its warranty policy, 3 yrs/36k miles which ever comes first. a/c units normally do not fail so quick even if used 24/7. you might see if you can appeal the case and ask again. have you been doing all your oil changes with your Honda dealer, sometimes they have influence with Honda America to have it done under warranty. Have had any mods done to your car.
