Using a 10 amp fuse on the tap. And a 7.5 amp in line fuse to the switch.
Hooked it all up and turned power on.
Light on the switch turned on
Mirrors started to feel warm

If I had to do it all again then I would just not do it.
Would just use a rag to clean mirrors in the winter.
Glad you figured it out,I agree with you on doing it over,I find using Rain X or Mothers CMX on the mirrors and windshields helps in the winter,he'll I don't even have to use my wipers when it rains.

Thanks for the interest.
Have had a couple of chances to use the heated mirrors.
Cold mornings.

Still, a rag or rain-x would do just fine.

Update:

Freezing over night. Whole car is a sheet of ice.
Run out to start engine and turn on heat and defrost
Then run back inside the house.
Glad I got the heated side mirrors done
I don't have to stand out there wiping the mirrors clean
