Default 82 Honda CB 750 K Problem

Hey guys... Just thought I would come to the experts on this one since it has stumped me.

I have a 1982 Honda CB 750 K that I just bought and I am having some problems keeping it running. It seems to be a heat or time problem.

The bike will start up fine and run like it was brand new for just a little bit, I can take it up and down my road and after the bike warms up it shuts right down.

The only way to get it restarted it to put the choke to full and crank it over and it will eventually start up. My guess on this one is vapor locking or something to that effect but it is baffling me at the momment.

Any help with working on this so I can get out for a nice ride in confidence would be a great help...

Thanks in advance...
Mike

Well, to start off, is the fuel tank valve in correct position?
Straight up (north) is ON for running, across, (east), is OFF
position, and straight down (south) , is the RESERVE tank.
I have no clue how much you know about bikes
Maybe the fuel lines are clogged?
