86 shadow vt1100 won’t start
So this has been a bit of a headache. Bike was running rough and needed the carbs rebuilt. Had a shop take care of that to find out it was running on one cylinder (needed a coil) but it ran. I picked up the bike, Changed the coils while it was still on my trailer, started up was running good, warming up sounding normal, so I started Unstrapping the bike while it was still running, got to the second strap (a side strap) bike leaned about an inch right when the strap released and the bike stalled. Went to start it back up and it just turns. It’s cranking well untill it starts killing the battery, I checked my work on coils and made sure they are sparking, checked the kill switch, petcock, fuel level (has new fuel), kickstand and clutch switch’s, all fuses are good, I can’t see any bare broken or disconnected wires and at this point I’m just stuck. If anyone has ideas or if there’s something I’m missing any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank In advance!
Sorry do not know much about Bikes.
But, since you have check kill switch, petcock, gas level, clutch, fuses, spark and fuel lines,
would suggest spraying fuel or starter fuel into in-take and see if it will try to start
That will let you know if it is a fuel feed issue or not.
Sorry not much help
