Default Start an stalls

After being in the sun all day, and then cooling off overnight my 08 Honda 750 Areo will start fine but then stall after about 30 seconds. When this happens I have found that there is no fuel in the line from the tank to the carb, but there is vacuum present in the line. I suspect that when the fuel and tank cool and contract, a vacuum is created in the tank/system. To get the bike started I have to pull the rubber fuel hose off of the tank shut-off valve (that is when I here the vacuum release)and it will start and run fine the rest of the day. I have tried leaving the fuel cap loose on top of the tank but that did not help. I have also tried leaving the shut-off valve open and closed. This happens every time the bike cools down out of the sun for several hours. Any suggestions?

welcome to the forums.. i dont know much about bikes but maybe your shut off valve or something is broken.. it may not be opening and causing the vacum in the line then when you release it its openeing its self up and working?? like i said i dont know much about bikes.

Thanks, I have verified proper operation of the fuel shut off valve. I spoke to the techs at the Honda store where I bought the bike today, they have not heard of this problem before....... the search continues
