Default I was told late November

A local dealership said Honda won’t give them a date. He said the 2020 won’t be in the dealerships until like late november.

Default No Fit for USA

2020 Fit
Idk. I saw the 2020 Fit on the computer at the Tokyo auto show and I like it.

Do you really think it’s coming to the states?

Yes. I was looking at a 2019 but then felt I’d rather wait for this 2020. I really don’t like how Honda won’t disclose if it’s coming to the United States. Are they trying to surprise us? Lol

not a surprise, some times a company may decide that the sales are too soft to make money, so they may cut off a line. or they have not decided a final cut due to several ways the car is made during testing and failures if any may decide to go a different way. the last info i found ending jun 19 showed North America sold 3700+ Fits'. all car companies won't disclose what is being made or coming until they finalize what can be used in the US per vehicle codes/rules. have you already made your financial plans in advance, this saves you a lot of money and sitting at the sales desk for 4 hrs to discuss what the salesman will get paid (lol)

I hope to pay mostly cash. I seriously would like the ‘20 Fit to come to the dealerships. Otherwise, I’m passing on the ‘19 Fit and they probably won’t be available if I wait till next year and the ‘20 never shows up.

i would not worry too much on the 2020. Honda would advise the public way in advance if a model would be dropped off the line. they may not say much of the new model coming up. we purchased an HR-V, i knew a year in advance that honda was planning a northamerican model, same at the Fit when it was called a Jazz first made in 2001 for japan and uk. built and tested for 4-5 yrears before it bacame the 2007 Fit.which i have if you subscribe to the honda news, you will be able to get a lot of info. also on their cute little jet they have, and their robots.
you might want to find out if your dealership has classes to train owners how to handle, maintain their cars. also don't pay retail for your car. check nada or kelly for invoice price. or let the dealerships bit for your business.
