Yes, I think I did see they said Feb 2020. I thought it was for Japan, But whatever. I won’t dwell on it too much. It probably will make it here. I definitely want to get the invoice price discounted. We’ll see....

 

“The new Honda Fit will begin arriving in showrooms in select markets in 2020. Pricing information hasn’t been released yet, but it might not matter to American consumers. Honda hasn’t revealed if it decided the hatchback is fit enough to again jazz up its American lineup. The 2021 model year? What?

 

Well, one of the dealerships that I reached out to a while ago emailed me saying that he received word the ‘20 Fit will NOT be sold in America. But he still had one ‘19 Fit.

I guess he would have access to that information; however, I haven’t seen any articles on the web saying anything confirming his claim.

This was the dealership internet sales person saiid. Maybe he has inside information from Honda:

dealership sales person wants to sell you a 2019 so he can make money off you, and he still does have one Fit EX in stock, yes and many more at a storage lot or at sister lots he can tap off from. or awaiting the next shipment. if you talk to several dealerships, they all have one ex to sell to you or can have it there within a week or less. i stopped by Diamond

 

So two dealerships told me that the 2020 Fit is incoming the week of dec 20-26. I’ll see if it’s true. The one dealership told me for absolute sure in yellow highlights that it was NOT coming to the states. And as you said before, they probably said that to get me to buy the 2019.

 

In case anyone wanted to know, local dealerships are getting the 2020 Fit. However, it’s not the “newly released Tokyo car show” version. It’s basically the same as the 2019.
