Default Honda Fit Window Problem

I have a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. My rear driver window is going down but not up. My neighbor looked at it and tested the switch and it is working. He also tested the motor on a battery and it worked going up and down. Than we tried to change the main driver side power switch and the back window is still not working.Has anyone have a idea? I hate to take it to Honda and pay a lot of money.

You have tested each individual component
Have you tested the circuit that provides the powers and grounds to the window motor?
A schematic would definitely help

Default not sure

I don't know anything about cars.I don't know how to check the components. My neighbor checked all the other winding and they work from the main switch.I don't know where the circuit is located and what to check.Whats a schemedic?

You tested the window motor by putting power and ground to it.
Checked it to move window up and down
Window motor is one component of the electric window system
Then, you checked the window switch, another component
The circuit that controls the window motor is simply the wiring
A schematic is the drawing of how the components are linked together in the circuit
Sometimes they show where the wiring is located, such things like grounds and fuse (number)

So my neighbor (since I don't know ) took the switch out and tried the switch on the other back window and it worked. So it was not the switch. He also took the motor and put it on a battery and it would go up and down so that worked too. The fuse was okay also. We replaced the main front switch with a new one and it still would only go down but not up. So now I'm stuck.

I don't know your exact window circuit
But a typical window control circuit has a bunch of relays
Two or more wires going to the window motor
With switch not activated, both wires that actually go to the motor are at ground state
When switch is activated, one of the two wires goes to battery voltage and motor moves (either up or down)
If the motor does not go up then would activate switch to go down and identify wire that goes to battery voltage
And then activate the switch to go up and see if the other wire goes to battery voltage
If it doesn't then need to trace back to the relay
Easier with the schematics to tell you where the relay is.
This way you can trace the wire to see if there is continuity or broken.
If you feel you can not trace the wire then you will have to go to a garage to get it fixed.
They will be able to get a schematic and trace wires for power and ground, continuity, etc.

Oh, another possibility is the window regulator does not work.
So have to ask if the window motor tries to run when switch is activated up?

Have you tried looking at youtube videos?
Maybe they have something which can help you?
