Accord K24Z3 what is the best possible oil for european market and 150k miles engine?
Hi i am recently pround owner of Honda accord for european market 2.4 petrol manual gearbox , year 2011 8th generation before face lift, with engine k24z3 ,
I wonder, what is the best possible oil for european market and 150k miles engine?
I live in europe and car have 150k miles already from previous owners,
car doesnt have very regular oil maitenance some oil changes from previous/ owner/s were at around 30k, i dont know what engine oil was used...
some of the oil change intervals were between 2-3 years so..
Please advice me as far as i understand for such engine 0w 20 will be worst possible option, so what are my options should i stick with 5w 30 or something else please advice thanks.

0w-20 would be used in Alaska winter, or New York winter. 0w-30 for vehicles in Alaska or New York with high milage est 150k or more due to a bit more ware. 0w-40 or more high milage and ware. 05w-30 for new to est 150k California weather, Shara, Mojave desert. thinner the oil the colder the climate the thicker the oil the hotter the climate. basic theory. harley davision air cooled mortor cycle use w40 or w50 aircooled engines.

I use Lucas Oil Synthetic 15W-40 here https://davesoilchange.com/15w-40-oil-guide/ <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->best 15W-40 Oil,and I live in a hot climate, this oil is just right for this, since it protects the engine from high temperatures. 0w 30 as you wrote, it is used for low temperatures, if you live in a temperate climate zone, then the best option would be 5w30.
