Average Life Expectancy?
Hey y'all,
I'm about to head to a local Honda dealership tomorrow to look quite a few used CRV's they have in stock, and I'm just wondering what the average life expectancy is for the CRV? I'm looking for a range of how many miles these vehicles may last for.
The years I am looking at are from 2008-2013 from 90K miles up to 160K miles.
Just want to hear from anyone who owns CRVs from these years and see how long they last.
My mother-in-law recently purchased a 2013 CRV with 140K and she started getting misfires. I ended up checking the motor out for here, and an ignition coil went out. I replaced the single coil and the car started working, but another coil ended up going out, so I just replaced all 4. Since then, her CRV has been running great.
Looking forward to hearing your comments! I know Hondas are great and I am excited to get my first, with the CRV!
Thanks in advance

I own a 2007 CRV which I purchased about two years ago with 90k on the clock
Nephew bought a 2007 CRV with 215k on the clock
His vehicle looks and runs better than mine.
I have had to change the sway bar links and outer tie rod ends
rear brakes and front brakes (pads and rotors)
AC compressor and speakers
Last was the front right wheel bearing
Like to do it in pairs but the replacement was so difficult that I opted to only change one side
Nephews vehicle have only changed all the fluids.
Everything else is in excellent condition
It is all a matter of how well one takes care of their vehicle.
Before purchasing, inspect the underside for rust
Rust will kill any car and it is the most expensive to fix when on major parts
