civic just dies

Default civic just dies

i havea 1996 civic dx coupe, manual trans....well, when i drive to a stop, i'll be in neutral and then somtimes it just dies on me with out a warning, then my battery light will shine, as well as my oil light! i already changed the battery and bought a new alternater for it. but sometimes it will still die on me. i aint stalling either. it will only die when im in neutral, the car will just shut off...dont know why it is doing this....any help is greatly appreciated....

possible fuel system related, ck fuel filter, and fuel pump pressure at the fuel rail.

Check your map sensor my old stock civic ex had that problem and it was the map sensor. all hondas are known for their map sensor problems. try running it and unplugging the map sensor plug it back in and start it again
