I recently bought a 1994 acura Integra Ls with 200,000 miles on it. I plan to rebuild the motor and put it in my 1995 Civic EX,but dont know how hard the swap is. I have done a d-16 to d-16 swap witch wasnt hard. I would just like to know what I am getting myself into.

 

Dude where did u get the Integ? What do u have for mods on the civ. And are u just doing the swap or are u parting the rest of the Integ?My friend islooking for Front Bumper and drivers side front fender, prorferably in black, but if nothe can paint them, thats cool.

 

actually I have a brand new front bumper for the integ. I am parting out the whole car except for the things for my swap. The bumper is brand new and unpainted. It has not yet been put on the car. As for mods on the civ. I have 2" teinlowering springs. Front upper and lower strut bars. H brace. 17" chrome rims. 10.3 mm plug wires. full aem cold air intake equipped with a tornado. aftermarket mirrors with blinkersw z3 fenders. fullmegan exhaust with racing cat. alpine cd player with audiobahn speakers. 2 12" dual sub woofers with 1200 watt sony explode amp. Brand new d-16A engine with stage 2 cv shafts. ram air hood. hood pins. si taillights.euro halo headlights. si spoiler.

I'm not sure how the mounts are going to work cause I've only swapped dohc's with dohc's. You'll need the motor, tranny, shift linkage, wiring harness, ecu, axles, an you already have vtec in the ex right? So you shouldn't have to do anything with that. Other than that, your exhaust might an might not line up. Have fun! An enjoy the power increase.
