Default G829 Dark Green Pearl

Title should read G82P Dark Green Pearl

Doing some work on my step daughters 1998 Civic LX. Paint code is G82P. Paint and clear coat not the best on the hood but other than that a very clean ride. I found a donor car in a local pick-your own parts that is dark green. I need to go and get the paint code on that car. My question is what is the difference between paint codes G82P, G82P-1 Through G82P-5. From what I found G82P is called Dark Green Pearl and the others are called Cypress Green Pearl. The small paint chips all look the same. I may get lucky and the donor car is a G82P but I guess I'm counting on it being -1,-2 etc...
Thanks

Thanks buckwheat. I saw that one site lists them all the same as you said. I found another site that listed the G82P as Dark Green Pearl and the ones with -1,-2, etc.. were the Cypress Green Pearl. I'm trying to figure out the meaning of the -1,-2,,,, . I was thinking that maybe it related to the a mount of "pearl" or aluminum dust that was added to the paint. I've not been able to hold the two hoods side by side to see the difference if any. To me standing in the junkyard they look the same. I may try and contact my local BAP store and see if they list a different mix formula for these codes. The hood in the pick-your own part yard is in excellent shape and they only want $50. So I'm thinking I may just go get it on Saturday. Worse case is it don't match. I'm sure I can resell and get my money back. Thanks

My CR-V is Cypress Green Pearl, and my door pillar says G-82P. No extra numbers.

It might be a model-year thing. My car is also a 98, like yours. Maybe they added numbers in later years?
