Is Honda Care extended warranty worth it? How much does the warranty cost?

 

welcome to the forum. if you have no idea of how to fix/repair a car, the extended warranty is good to have, Honda charges est 1800+ , you can shop around and get them for less but need to know what coverage you get. Honda pays about 1300 for the coverage and makes money from you on retail. on my 02 civic, and 07 Fit I had the coverage costing me 1600 to 1800 dollars, on both cars 0 failure of anything. but I worked 60-80 miles from work and wanted peace of mind, with my AAA and the warranty, I drove daily and worked on my friends cars, let the Honda dealer work on my driver. today I have 290K+ miles on the Fit and replaced a 1200.00 cat.
Your choice of peace of mind. make sure you take notes and ask questions on what is covered on the extension. keep us informed on what you decide to do. also if you don't mind what they are charging for the coverage now. Please.

 

Hello; I just bought a used Civic and my credit union informed me that they offer the same warrenty at about $400 less. So, if you finance thru your Credit Union ask them if they offer one.
