Default how do I make my car a little faster and improve the sound

I've gotta 93 Honda civic dx with a d15 1.5 L. It ain't much nut I want to improve the sound and add some power.I'm thinking of getting a new manifold and maybe a new exhaust.but I don't know a while lot about cars so I'm open to tips and advice

sorry but no bolt on upgrade will make your civic faster it's not going to happen. header intake exhaust will change the sound thats about it.

hi..
first of all the car you bought is very nice. now you have to improve your sound so you must use another sports silencer and for more power if you disturbed original condition of car so its not give you long life warranty.

You might try CAI ,less restrictive exhaust and computer download.you might get 15 HP. Not worth the expense,if you just want exhaust noise get one of those fart cans.

You can replace your exhaust manifold with an aftermarket header, those make your car sound louder/better. Also increases your hp and fuel mileage by a little bit

The purchase of an extended warranty should be considered.

I would suggest an extended warranty from National Repair Solutions .

Several from Edmunds have purchased from these folks, and have saved some :money:
