I have a 2000 CRV with manual transmission. My clutch pedal return spring is said to be "weak". Honda no longer carries this part. So, where can you go for "rare" parts?

 

salvage yards, e-bay, honda sites on line, there is a site on line that you put the part you need and most salvage yard will answer it they have the part and amount, also some after market sites may have the needed part.

 

Yeah I have a hard time accepting the idea that 'parts aren't available' I run a plumbing shop in Florida, and there are very few instances where I couldn't acquire needed parts. It usually boiled down price and lead-time from a 3rd party manufacturer, rather than 'availability'. My accord is an 07, so hopefully I don't have to worry about any situation like that any time soon.
btw, did you get the part you needed?
