I drive my 2004 Carerra and I am constantly being challenged by these people who drive civic si with v tec. all of the sudden they have a Ferarri.

They would beat me until I hit my v tec controller

 

the reason why they try and race me is because they think im a ricer witch is funny because my crx runs a 15.5 witch is the same as a nissan 240sx but i dont sweat it i just race them and show them not to mess with me im hopin to get it to run low twelves

 

I don't sweat the little things in life my Porsche holds its own

 

That's quite simple. Every other teenager out there who gets his first beater aspires to get a Honda Civic and pimp it up. Meanwhile, they get a cheap used old Honda Civic, can't afford any real upgrades or mods, and try to drive it like it's a Ferrari. Thus giving civics and civic drivers everywhere a bad name.

Oh, they also usually get a stereo so loud that the car windows vibrate and ruin the acoustics of the sound system.

 

Young kids will save to put a $5000.00 system in a $200.00 car and do that with any car they drive

 

And of course being one of the best selling cars at times there are plenty of old $200-1000 civic's out there just waiting for a stylish high decibel renovation.

 

it's because you get the people who are poor, and spend there money on an aluminum super bird spoiler, then on food for their kids. Granted, there are some nice honda's around. But the ratio of badly tuned, badly modified, absolutely hideous honda's compared to sleek, well designed thought out hondas is what 1000:1 pretty much. Its the reason im getting away from my Honda.
