i have a 98 civic ex with some chattering valves or lifters.
i am ready to rebuild the head and do the timing belt, tensioner and water pump as well. my question is, is it worth it to rebuild the head with performance parts such as BLOX components and will i need to do anything to the rest of the engine by doing this? as screwed as this sounds the car only has 98k miles on it. inturn will this actually give me that much more horse power and performance??

 

well thats something u have to figure out. if u wanna do a single cam go ahead and do the head work with blox cam and new aftermarket springs ect, but........... if not motor swaps are a good alternative.

 

hmmm right, it's up to you if you want to change or rebuild something in your car...
