My engine just died on my beloved 1998 Honda Civic EX, it lasted 205,000 miles so I'm quite happy with how well its treated me.

I'm trying to sell the car as-is, body is still in good condition and I'm sure a lot of the other internal parts are still in decent condition. What's your take on a fair market price for a car like this with a dead engine that will need replacement/rework?

welcome to the forum. 98 civic 4dr ex average condition worth 3150.00 less bad engine -1200.00 to 1800.00. (person if mech can purchase a good used engine for 5-600.00 and have it installed for approx 500.00. rough est. )
