What's my 99 hatchback worth w/ a bad motor?
I'm looking to sell my '99 hatchback Civic CX due to pretty poor compression in two of four cylinders. It's burning some serious oil. The body's straight, and pretty clean, very minor paint flaking near the windows, and 195k miles on it. The only other minor thing would be the cracked windshield. It drives alright as long as you refill the 1-2 quarts of oil with every gas stop.
I'm looking to get what I can without putting anything into it, like the glass and the paint. I figure anyone using it for it's body would want to replace that stuff anyway, right?
Any advise is very welcome and appreciated. I'm guessing about 2-3000?

Hi, Im no expert but heres what I got recently and what I paid. 91 hatch back. 192,400 miles, new radiator, new battery, new paint. Decent body (a couple dings which I was willing to overlook due to the new paint). Does not leak a drop of oil between changes(every 3000 miles for the last 10 yrs) according to previous owner.
Orig. asking price $2,500 but was given a $200 discount because stereo was recently stolen. Hope this helps. Good luck
