I had to use a slim jim on my driver's door to get in my car, as soon as I got it unlocked the horn went off, and I was able to crank the car with the key and it went off, but now my key does not lock or unlock my car from the driver's side. is there a reset for this or have I totally messed up my locking mechanism?? Please help, even though the passenger side still works I want to be able to lock my door from my driver's side.....I am the type woman to fix things myself and not run to a shop when things go wrong on my car which I go to the junk yard to get parts for it when I can avoid buying new.
