2000 Accord Won't idle, gas smell in cabin
i've got a 2000 Accord 2.3l Vtec, Started smelling like gas in cabin, then 4 days later won't stay started, it will turn over but won't stay on. If I give it gas the engine will run but thats it. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator, but no change. Is there a fuel filter in my honda? I can't find record of it in my Haynes manual or Owner's manual. Do I need new injectors of new spark plugs? Need help and any suggestions!!!!

Welcome to the forum jpmack: according to the parts diagram on majestichonda.com I noticed the filter in the tank. Usually these are never changed. Also would a tune up on the accord help? like you mentioned plugs, wires, or dirty injectors.

If your engine is not burning up all the fuel properly, it usually comes back into the cab during deceleration with the window open. If you smell fuel while driving in a fwd direction, it may be exhaust fumes coming into the cab thru the firewall, or thru a hood leaking rear upper seal, this allows the fumes to come thru the lower front of the windshield vent area. ( about where thewiper blades are)
