2004 Honda Accord lx
Hello I hope all is well family I’m experiencing trouble starting up my Honda Accord purchased 5 yrs ago when it had 117.000k it currently has 194,250 miles their is a clunking sound when trying to crank up will start after a few try’s rpm sits right on the 1 Rpm once on but the gauge normally sits right under the 1 on idle. I recently replaced the battery I also replaced starter and alternator together roughly about 2 yrs ago also replaced vtec solenoid gasket, valve cover gasket, engine motor mounts, power steering pump transmission flush ac condenser all within the past year I regularly change the oil every 3000 miles as well any suggestions or leads as to what may be causing this issue can it possibly be a faulty throttle body or fuel pump ?
i truly appreciate the help

Four cylinders or six cylinders? The six should have a timing belt and the four should be a timing chain.
Clunking? Hard to say from here.
Does it have spark?
Do you hear the fuel pump run for a second or two when you first turn the key to the "ON" position?
Does it have Injector pulse?
When cranking engine, is there any exhaust coming out the tail pipe?
Lots of questions.

Hello
Hello I hope all is well with you thank you I appreciate your help.with all due respect im not all too tech savvy but when trying to crank it on it’ll sputter a few times and then turn on i also had an issue with the ignition switch recently were you insert the key I accidentally kept turning the key when car was on and made a grinding sound then shut off the green light that glows around the ignition turned off and car wouldn’t start after about 10 minutes the green light turned back on and was able to start back up with no issues but while running errands today it was giving me some trouble again I don’t cause further damage due to the grinding sound it makes when trying to turn it on
its a 4 cylinder lx sedan
Yes it has a pulse I can hear the fuel pump run on as well when switched to the on position no exhaust coming out the tail pipe that I’m aware of
last time The timing belt along with spark plugs were replaced was roughly 75k miles ago I don’t hear any unusual noises coming from the timing belt area while car is on

500 seems high. Do we know for sure that the starter is bad? What about the ring gear? Do you know anyone who has ever used a socket set or wrenches? Doesn't require anything but rudimentary tools and experience. I'd pull the starter and examine them. Rotate the crank to examine all the teeth on the ring gear.
