I have a 98 civic with a 1.6l motor in it. Can I add a turbo to this motor without damaging motor?

 

welcome to the forum. yes you can turbo a 1.6, as long as you do not over boost the engine, and not over rev the engine. you will spend quite a few dollars to do the mod. you'll learn a lot if it is your first turbo install. (also need to enlarge your exhaust system a bit for breathing.)
