I recently purchased a 1995 acura integra ls. When the car is let running to warm up it eventually reaches about 500 rpms, and the engine temp meter reads slightly below halfway. However, once I begin to drive the car the engine temp slowly drops back down to cold, and the car begins to idle anywhere from 900-1100 rpms. One, I want to know what is wrong with my car. Two, this is making my heat suck. If anyone knows anything about this I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

Welcome to the forums.. i would say that you have a bad thermostat. its an easy fix and it should make the problems go away
