I have a brand new 2022 civic and am new to the auto stop feature. Sometimes it’s smooth when the engine restarts and sometimes it has a shudder when it turns off/on at a stop light. Is this normal? Does anyone with the auto stop start feel the same thing? I have 1K miles on my car currently so I’m not sure what’s normal and what’s not. Thanks!

 

welcome to the forum. document what is happening and when. Time and date, temp and type of driving done. when you take to thee dealership next time you can show them what your civic is doing and get it fixed. they might say its normal, or find something they can fix. you an also try dringin a nother same year civic on a test drive and see if that 22 civic does the same thing.
