Default brake service not in manual

hello
our 97 CRV manual lists what to have serviced and when.
but there is no mention of having the brakes serviced.
do other honda manuals say about when and what to get done re servicing?
thanks all

I don't believe so,you need to check them each time you change the oil ,the inspection hole in the caliper will give you a view of how close the (squeeler) is to making contact to the rotor. The squeeler as I call it is a piece of metal attached to the pads,it will let you know when you need new pads when the brakes are applied.
