I am repairing a damaged 03 USA made Civic. It is a LX, 2 door with side air bags. The air bags deployed in the accident and I purchased bags, belts and control module used, from different auto salvage yards. [Hard to find these right parts for this car] After I assembled everything the air bag light stayed on. I had the system scanned at the local Honda dealer who said the right front seat OPDS unit was faulty. I ordered in a new one and had the dealer install it. They couldn't get the light off, and now say the main SRS controlmodule is faulty !!
In the initial scan, shouldn't the faulty module have shown up along with the OPDS?
